The luxury rental project called SURFHOUSE, located at 1150 Kingsley Street in Asbury Park, New Jersey, has officially opened for leasing and welcomed its first residents. The 226-unit building includes 206 apartments (ranging from studios up to three-bedrooms) plus 20 four-story townhomes, many of which offer two-car garages, private rooftop terraces, and views of the beachfront and a private courtyard. Developed by Starfield Companies—which has already invested more than $500 million across Asbury Park in major hospitality and residential projects—the building is positioned just two blocks from the boardwalk and the Atlantic Ocean. (Real Estate NJ) The property boasts approximately 15,000 square feet of amenity space, 3,500 square feet of ground-floor retail, bike/surfboard storage, EV-charging stations, and is pet-friendly. Starfield notes that the start of leasing was “off to a great start” and that SURFHOUSE is meant to align with the city’s “creative, diverse and constantly evolving” character. Residents are already describing the building’s design and amenities – including a resort-style pool, rooftop lounge, and wellness-focused fitness center – as creating a feeling of “permanent vacation.”
